Mickey Mouse

最近、アニメーションやキャラクターについて調べて見ているんだけど、
色んなものを見てみて、
この時代の「ミッキーマウス」がズバ抜けて良くできていると思う。

これは1928年のもの。
今から80年近く前のものだけど、今のアニメーション観ているより面白い。

アニメーションには、ちょいちょい入れていく「気遣い」というものが必要だと私は思うが、
この時代の8分間の「ミッキーマウス」にはそれが全面に出ている。
短いアニメーションによる「無駄のなさ」と
何も制約が無いかのような「自由さ」を感じる所が魅力だと思う。

最近それを感じたのは「トイストーリー３」かな。
あの映画も、モノの飛び方一つでも様々な「気遣い」があった。

実は日本の伝統文化にもそれと似たようなものがあると、昨年の研修旅行で学んだのを思い出した。
その世界では「秘事」と呼ばれているらしい。
藝術を志す者なら秘事を持て。ある坊さんに言われた強烈な一言です。

Recently I'm examining Animation and Character.
I watched various movies.
And I think "Mickey Mouse"in this age is the best Animation.
This movie was made at 1982.
It is 80 years ago, but this is more interesting than to watch modern animation.

I think that the animation needs "Ki zu kai". this word means kindness for viewer.
And then, "Mickey Mouse" had used many "Ki zu kai".

"Toy story 3" have also many "Ki zu kai". For example, how to move one thing. up? down? another one move? many variation.

Actually, the traditional culture of Japan also often has it.
It was said, "Hi ji -Secret-".
One man said to me "Have the secret! If you become an artist."
